Navigate the checkered board from Infancy toward Happy Old Age. Collect Virtue Points along the way. The first player to accumulate 100 points wins.
THE WHEEL
Spin the six-sided wheel. The result determines how you may move — but you choose the direction.
Spin
Movement
1
Move 1 space UP or DOWN (you choose)
2
Move 1 space LEFT or RIGHT (you choose)
3
Move 1 space DIAGONALLY (you choose direction)
4
Move 2 spaces UP or DOWN (you choose)
5
Move 2 spaces LEFT or RIGHT (you choose)
6
Move 2 spaces DIAGONALLY (you choose direction)
THE BOARD
The board is a checkerboard. Gold squares have names and effects. Light squares are empty — safe, but worth nothing. Diagonal moves always land on gold squares; orthogonal moves always land on empty squares.
SPACE TYPES
Virtue spaces (e.g., Honor, Truth): Award points when you land on them.
Redirect spaces (e.g., Bravery → Honor): Immediately move you to another space.
Vice redirects (e.g., Crime → Prison): Send you to dangerous destinations.
Happy Old Age: Worth 50 points. If you still haven't reached 100, keep playing. Land again for another 50.
Prison: Lose your next turn.
Exile: You are eliminated from the game.
Speculation: A gamble — spin again. 4+ sends you to Wealth; 1–3 sends you to Ruin.
BUMPING
Landing on another player's space sends them to Jail (near the start). A significant setback.
STRATEGY
The direct diagonal from Infancy to Happy Old Age is fast but perilous — Exile blocks the path. Virtue spaces offer safe points on longer routes. Vice spaces tempt with shortcuts but carry heavy consequences. Choose wisely.
