The Super Nintendo console system became a haven for role-playing game enthusiasts. Several great games on the Super Nintendo still provide engrossing experiences.

The Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) ushered in a golden age for fans of role-playing games (RPGs). The console's success helped propel the genre to new heights.
