According to WFSB, Eve's mother, Melanie Federline, discovered her daughter when she tried to wake her up that morning. Police secured a search warrant to conduct a full review of the scene. As of Wednesday, the cause of death was not immediately apparent, according to the police statement. Authorities stated that there does not appear to be a public threat at this time. The family is reportedly cooperating with the police investigation.
