LeBron James poised to set NBA regular-season games record Saturday

LeBron James is expected to surpass Robert Parish's record for most regular season games played in the NBA on Saturday. The Los Angeles Lakers player is scheduled to play his 1,612th game in Orlando, adding another accomplishment to his career.

LeBron James is already a record holder in the National Basketball Association for most points, seasons played, shots made, and minutes played. On Saturday night, James is expected to break his tie with Hall of Famer Robert Parish for the most regular season games played. James said after Thursday's game that he wanted to be the best player in the league. He expressed that some of the accomplishments he has achieved over the last few years have been "super-duper cool". At age 41 and in his 23rd season, James continues to perform at a high level.
