Mark English Advances at World Indoor Championships, Anthony Wins 60m

Mark English secured a spot in the semi-finals at the World Indoor Athletics Championships in Toruń. Jordan Anthony of the U.S. won the 60m title on his world championship debut.

Irish athlete Mark English, a Donegal native, delivered a standout performance at the World Indoor Athletics Championships held at the Kujawsko-Pomorska Arena in Toruń. English, ranked third, won his 800m heat, advancing to the semi-finals. Tolu Akinola, the Irish record holder, also advanced in the 60m, finishing his opening heat in third place. American sprinter Jordan Anthony secured the 60m title with a time of 6.41 seconds. Kishane Thompson of Jamaica finished second, and Trayvon Bromell of the U.S. took third place.
