Maryland defeated Murray State 99-67 in the first round of the NCAA Tournament on Friday. Redshirt freshman Kyndal Walker led the charge with a career-high 20 points. Walker's teammates also contributed to the Terrapins' success. Mir McLean scored 19 points, Addi Mack added 18, Yarden Garzon had 12, and Saylor Poffenbarger contributed 10 points.
