President Trump Says He Plans to 'Wind Down War' in Iran

President Trump stated on Friday that he intends to 'wind down war' with Iran. This announcement comes roughly three weeks after the start of military operations against Iran.

President Trump said on Friday that the U.S. is nearing its objectives and is considering concluding military actions in the Middle East against Iran. Trump outlined goals such as degrading Iran's missile capabilities, destroying its defence industrial base, and eliminating its navy and air force. He also stated the U.S. would never allow Iran to develop nuclear capabilities. Trump added that the U.S. would protect Middle Eastern allies, including Israel, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, and Kuwait. Trump said other nations who use the Hormuz Strait will have to guard and police it.
