Windows 11 to restore movable taskbar after user criticism
Microsoft will restore the ability to move the Windows taskbar to different areas of the screen. The change comes after user criticism of Windows 11's performance and user experience since the 2021 launch.
Microsoft is bringing back the movable Windows taskbar, which will allow users to reposition it to the top or sides of their screen. Windows chief Pavan Davuluri said that the change reflects user feedback. The taskbar change will first be available to Windows Insiders in the coming weeks. Following testing, the updated taskbar will be available to all Windows 11 users later this year.
