Arteta's Arsenal Wembley Record: Eight Wins in Eight Matches

Mikel Arteta has coached or played in eight matches at Wembley Stadium as a Gunner, winning each time. Arteta's first Wembley trip was in 2014, when Arsenal reached the FA Cup semi-finals.

Mikel Arteta, Arsenal's manager, seeks to maintain his undefeated record at Wembley Stadium this weekend. Arteta has appeared at the stadium eight times during his Gunners career, four times as a player and four as a manager. In 2014, Arsenal reached the FA Cup semi-final, facing Wigan, the prior year's champions. Wigan took the lead in the second half with a penalty, but Per Mertesacker equalised late, sending the game into extra time and then penalties. Arteta scored in the shootout, and Arsenal advanced to the final after conversions from Kim Kallstrom, Olivier Giroud and Santi Cazorla.
