Bayern Munich Dominates Union Berlin 4-0, Extends Bundesliga Lead

Bayern Munich defeated Union Berlin 4-0 in Bundesliga action on March 21, extending their lead at the top of the table. The victory puts Bayern Munich closer to equalling a club scoring record.

Bayern Munich, after their Champions League quarter-final qualification with a 10-2 aggregate win over Atalanta, now have 70 points. Borussia Dortmund, who play Hamburg SV later, trail in second place with 58 points. Bayern Munich's victory saw them score three goals in a seven-minute span. Lennart Karl of Union Berlin hit the post before Michael Olise scored for Bayern in the 42nd minute. Serge Gnabry scored in stoppage time, and Harry Kane added another goal four minutes after the restart. Gnabry scored again in the 67th minute.
