The Central Board of Secondary Education is modernizing education through an AI-enabled, remotely proctored assessment for school counselling and wellness teachers. This initiative is part of the CBSE's capacity-building and quality assurance efforts. The assessment, conducted through the DIGI-EXAM platform, will evaluate almost 10,000 counsellors in affiliated schools, starting in February 2026. Unlike traditional exams, this assessment focuses on quality assurance and professional development within the counselling ecosystem, not just certification.
