Chris Evans Banned from Alfred Dunhill Links Championship After Victory

Radio host Chris Evans is reportedly banned from the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship after winning a celebrity pro-am event. Evans's high performance led to questions about his golf handicap and subsequent ban.

Chris Evans, a radio presenter, was reportedly barred from the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship after his victory in the celebrity pro-am golf competition. Evans and professional golfer Nick Dougherty won the title in 2011 with a score of 40-under-par. Questions arose regarding Evans's 10 handicap because of the record-low score. Evans was scheduled to defend his title the next year, but, according to the Mirror, he was prohibited from participating. The competition, which includes professional golfers and amateurs, such as Andy Murray and other celebrities, occurs on three Scottish golf courses.
