Eid al-Fitr Celebrated in Ranchi, Fake Goods Seized in Hazaribag

Muslims in Ranchi celebrated Eid al-Fitr with prayers and traditional meals. Hazaribag police seized counterfeit urea solution and related materials from a village under Mufassil police station limits.

Eid al-Fitr was celebrated in Ranchi on Saturday, marking the end of Ramzan. Special prayers occurred at over 60 mosques and Idgahs throughout the city between 6:30 a.m. and 10 a.m., according to Edar-e-sharia Moulana Qutubuddin Rizvi. Messages emphasizing world peace were shared, and devotees were encouraged to maintain the holy month's lifestyle of purity and hygiene. People visited each other's homes for traditional dishes and visited graveyards to remember loved ones. In Hazaribag, police seized a large quantity of counterfeit urea solution from Harhad village on Friday, according to Roshan Kumar Burnwal, officer-in-charge of Mufassil police station. The products had labels of two prominent companies. Police conducted the raid based on a complaint from Sunny Ghosh, an investigation officer for one of the companies.
