Fake Urea Solution Seized in Hazaribag; Eid Celebrated in Ranchi
Police in Hazaribag seized a large quantity of counterfeit urea solution being sold under the names of prominent companies. Muslims in Ranchi celebrated Eid with prayers and traditional meals.
In Hazaribag, police recovered counterfeit urea solution from Harhad village under Mufassil police station limits on Friday. The products carried the labels of two prominent companies. Roshan Kumar Burnwal, officer-in-charge of Mufassil police station, said the raid followed a complaint from Sunny Ghosh, an investigation officer for one of the companies. An FIR was registered against Tausar Alam and another unnamed accused, with investigations ongoing to identify and apprehend other culprits. In Ranchi, Muslims celebrated Eid on Saturday after a month of Ramzan fasting. Special prayers took place at over 60 mosques and Idgahs across Ranchi. Edar-e-sharia Moulana Qutubuddin Rizvi noted that people offered prayers between 6:30 a.m. and 10 a.m.
