Filipino Workers Repatriated from Israel Amidst Tensions, Arrive in Manila

A group of 25 Filipinos arrived safely in the Philippines from Israel, amidst ongoing regional tensions. The Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) stated that the group included 24 Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) and one child.

The DMW announced on Saturday the arrival of another group of Filipinos from Israel, as regional tensions continue. The group of 25 individuals landed at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 1 around 9 p.m., according to the DMW. This is the fifth group to be repatriated from Israel and the fourth to have crossed the Taba border in Egypt. The DMW stated that the repatriates received immediate financial and medical assistance. Transportation and lodging was also arranged to support their return to their homes throughout the country.
