Flames Beat Panthers 4-1, Olofsson Scores First Goal for Calgary
Victor Olofsson's first goal as a Calgary Flame led the team to a 4-1 victory against the Florida Panthers Friday. Joel Farabee, Morgan Frost, and Matt Coronato also scored for Calgary.
The goal by Olofsson, formerly with the Colorado Avalanche, was the game winner. Olofsson was traded to Calgary from Colorado in exchange for Nazem Kadri just before the March 6 trade deadline. Olofsson said that the trade was "a little bit shocking" because he had never been traded before in his seven NHL seasons. Dustin Wolf made 24 saves for Calgary. Greer scored the lone goal for Florida. Greer received a hooking minor, an interference major, and a game misconduct after a hit on Connor Zary in the third.
