Nick Griggs is preparing to participate in his first World Indoor Championships in Torun this Saturday, according to RTÉ Sport. The 21-year-old will be competing in the 3,000m race. He previously won gold at that distance in the European Junior championships in 2021. Griggs stated that the 3,000m is ideal for him, especially as it is a straight final. He added that competing in Poland was not initially a high priority at the start of the year. Griggs explained that he would participate if he achieved the standard, which ultimately worked out well.
