Millwall boss Alex Neil said that he made changes at halftime. Neil admitted that Ipswich played well in the first half, moving the ball effectively and preventing Millwall from gaining a foothold. Neil noted that Anthony Patterson made a good save, and he felt that Ipswich was more likely to score in the first half.
