Kerala Chief Minister Claims BJP Will Not Win Any Seats

Kerala's Chief Minister, Pinarayi Vijayan, stated on Saturday that the BJP is unlikely to secure any seats in the upcoming Assembly elections. Vijayan also said that India is acting as a vassal state of the U.S., criticizing the BJP and Congress for similar stances on imperialism.

Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said that the BJP's progress in Kerala remains insufficient for an electoral breakthrough. Vijayan also accused the central government of treating India as a "vassal state of the United States." He criticized both the Bhartiya Janata Party and Congress for what he sees as similar stances on imperialism. According to Vijayan, India is failing to take a firm stand against global imperialism and is becoming increasingly dependent on U.S. policies. He recalled a similar closeness with imperialist powers during PV Narasimha Rao's time as Prime Minister. Vijayan also said that voters are focused on development and that the LDF expects a strong mandate.
