Leapmotor is a new brand emerging from China. Stellantis secured a 20% stake in Zhejaing Motor Technology Co Ltd three years ago. In 2024, Stellantis started selling Leapmotor vehicles across Europe. The Stellantis representative in Ireland, the Gowan Group, began marketing them last year and is continuing to appoint dealers around the country. Leapmotor was founded in 2015 and sold its first vehicles in 2019. Last year, Leapmotor produced 596,555 vehicles.
