Mets Fans Find Love: The 7 Line Army's Romantic Connections
Two married couples within The 7 Line Army fan group connected through their shared love for the New York Mets. They will attend the March 26 season opener in Flushing against the Pittsburgh Pirates.
The 7 Line Army is a fan community known for attending games in a special section at Citi Field and travelling to away games. Amanda, a Queens native, and Andrew Indart, from Brooklyn, are among the fans who found love through the group. Andrew noticed Amanda when she posed for The 7 Line calendar, in which female fans were voted on by male fans. He asked her to sign his calendar at the 2014 release party, but continued to meet other women through the group. Amanda recalled having some early small talk with Andrew, but nothing substantial until a bus trip to Washington, DC, in 2015.
