Modi and Pezeshkian Discussed Regional Tensions, Bilateral Ties in Phone Call

According to Pezeshkian, a school in Minab was struck, resulting in the deaths of 168 schoolchildren. Pezeshkian said that Iran is open to dialogue with global leaders to ensure transparency around its nuclear program. He also suggested a regional security framework involving West Asian countries. Prime Minister Modi wished Iran's President, government, and citizens well for Eid al-Fitr and Nowruz, expressing hopes for a peaceful year, and stressed the importance of safeguarding the Strait of Hormuz.
