UAE Assures India of Safety and Resilience Amidst Iranian Attacks

The UAE's Ambassador to India, Abdulnasser Alshaali, has assured the Indian community of their safety and the UAE's resilience in the face of attacks from Iran. Alshaali's open letter emphasized the strength of the UAE-India partnership and the nation's preparedness.

Abdulnasser Alshaali, the UAE's Ambassador to India, addressed an open letter on Saturday to the UAE-India CEPA Council, a group supported by both the UAE and Indian governments, on the occasion of Eid. The ambassador's message conveyed reassurance and solidarity to every Indian in the UAE, emphasizing the certainty that the bilateral partnership will strengthen. Alshaali's letter highlighted the UAE's resilience and the strength of the UAE-India partnership. He affirmed that commercial activity in the Emirates has continued without interruption and essential services are operating normally, despite Iran's attacks. According to the ambassador, since the start of the conflict, Iran has launched over 2,000 missiles and drones against the United Arab Emirates, with the vast majority intercepted by the country's defence systems. The ambassador stated that the UAE has met this moment with extraordinary preparedness, technological sophistication, and operational readiness.
