Arkansas-Little Rock Edges Tennessee Tech; Arkansas State Wins
Arkansas-Little Rock defeated Tennessee Tech 4-3, securing their second consecutive win. Arkansas State Red Wolves defeated Georgia State 13-5 after scoring 11 runs.
Arkansas-Little Rock (UALR) defeated Tennessee Tech at the Averitt Baseball Complex in Cookeville, Tennessee, a day after Coach Chris Curry surpassed Gary Hogan's record with 276 career wins. Ryan Geck's solo home run in the eighth inning broke a 3-3 tie. Josh Beezley earned the win, pitching 2 1/3 scoreless innings, and Andrew Tag secured the save. Arkansas State defeated Georgia State at the GSU Baseball complex in Atlanta. The Red Wolves scored 11 runs in the final three innings. Cason Campbell's two-run single in the seventh gave Arkansas State the lead.
