Central Arkansas Bears, Southern Jaguars Sweep Doubleheaders Saturday
The University of Central Arkansas swept its Saturday doubleheader against Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tennessee. Southern University also swept a doubleheader against Arkansas-Pine Bluff at the Torii Hunter Complex.
Central Arkansas (16-10, 3-2 Atlantic Sun Conference) defeated Lipscomb (6-21, 1-4) in both games at Smith Stadium. The Bears won the first game 10-2 and the second 6-0. Southern (17-11, 5-4) defeated UAPB (8-16, 3-4 Southwestern Athletic Conference) in their Saturday doubleheader. Southern took the first game 4-0 and the second 13-9 in Pine Bluff.
