Davidson scores 31, USC defeats Clemson in NCAA Overtime

Jazzy Davidson scored 31 points for Southern California in her NCAA Tournament debut. The ninth-seeded Trojans defeated Clemson 71-67 in overtime.

Southern California's Jazzy Davidson made a go-ahead three-point shot with 1:03 left in overtime. The 6-foot-1 freshman's performance helped USC defeat Clemson. A basket by Clemson at the regulation buzzer was waved off after review determined the shot clock had not properly started. Referees determined there were still 4.4 seconds to play when Clemson inbounded the ball. According to Davidson, the Trojans mentally reset when they learned the game would go into overtime. USC will face top-seed South Carolina in the second round on Monday.
