Edwards Suffers Second Head Knock in Three Weeks Against North Melbourne

Harry Edwards sustained a head injury during Sunday's match against North Melbourne. This marks his second concussion in 21 days.

West Coast Eagles key defender Harry Edwards suffered a blow to the head during the opening quarter of Sunday's game against North Melbourne. The incident occurred when Edwards took an elbow to the face from teammate Matt Flynn during a marking contest. After the hit, the 25-year-old appeared immediately impacted and was escorted off the field by medical staff for concussion assessment. This injury comes shortly after Edwards sustained a concussion 21 days prior, following heavy contact from Ollie Lord of Port Adelaide in a pre-season game. The prior concussion caused Edwards to miss the Eagles' season opener. North Melbourne also experienced a defensive setback early in Sunday's game, with Griffin Logue sidelined due to a thigh injury. The Kangaroos took an early lead, scoring seven goals in the first quarter and leading by 24 points.
