Fire at Indore Scrap Warehouse Causes Evacuations, Significant Financial Loss

A fire at a scrap warehouse in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, gutted the structure on Sunday. Authorities evacuated nearby staff quarters as a precaution, and no injuries were reported.

A fire at a scrap godown in the Banganga area of Sanwer Road in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, led to precautionary evacuations on Sunday. According to officials, the fire began at approximately 12:13 p.m. Firefighters responded to extinguish the blaze. The cause of the fire remains undetermined. Aslam Ghauri, the scrap godown's owner, stated that the fire caused significant financial losses. Ghauri estimated the losses at around Rs 30-32 lakhs.
