Hawkeswood and Farmer Victorious at Possum Bourne Memorial Rally
Jack Hawkeswood and Jason Farmer won the Vantage Windows & Doors Possum Bourne Memorial Rally in their Toyota GR Yaris AP4. The event marked the start of the 2026 Hawkeswood Mining North Island Rally Series.
Jack Hawkeswood, with co-driver Jason Farmer, secured victory at the Possum Bourne Memorial Rally, driving a Toyota GR Yaris AP4. The rally took place on former World Rally Championship roads in the Te Akau region. Hawkeswood and Farmer won four of the six stages. Quentin Palmer and Noel Moloney, in a Skoda Fabia Rally2 Evo, finished less than a minute behind the winners. Andrew Hawkeswood and Jeff Cress drove their Mazda 2 AP4 to a third-place finish. Palmer noted that the day went well, marking his first time in the car since the Rally Bay of Plenty last season.
