The landslide took place in the Sarıyar area of Yenikaş neighbourhood, following rainfall. The impact damaged the vehicle and injured the driver, Okan K. Health, gendarmerie, and highway maintenance teams responded to the scene. First aid was given to Okan K., and his injuries were determined to be non-life-threatening.
