Malaysia: 1,304 Road Accidents, 15 Deaths Reported on First Day of Aidilfitri

On the first day of Aidilfitri, 1,304 road accidents occurred in Malaysia, resulting in 15 deaths. Bukit Aman's traffic investigation unit reported these figures in a Facebook post.

According to Bukit Aman's traffic investigation unit, the number of accidents and fatalities represent an overall decline compared to figures reported on the previous Friday. Across the country, 5,544 traffic police officers have been deployed. These officers are working to ensure road safety and minimize accidents and traffic congestion. It is anticipated that three million vehicles will be using the highways during the festive period.
