Melie Kerr achieved a record of ten consecutive innings of 30-plus scores in women's T20Is. The previous record was nine, held by Chamari Athapaththu of Sri Lanka and Rebecca Blake of Romania. Across 10 innings in 11 matches, Kerr totalled 554 runs at a strike rate of 142, also taking 12 wickets. In the series opener at Mount Maunganui, Kerr hit 78 from 44 balls. She then made 32 from 18 balls at Hamilton, and 30 from 28 balls in Auckland. At Wellington, Kerr took 1-32 in four overs, helping hold South Africa to 159-6.
