North Lincolnshire Council Provides Air Fryers to Eligible Pensioners in England

North Lincolnshire Council has provided approximately 16,000 air fryers to pensioners to promote healthy eating and reduce energy costs. The initiative aims to assist eligible households with efficient cooking appliances and cooking sessions.

The North Lincolnshire Council distributed thousands of air fryers to retirees as part of a local program. The initiative sought to provide roughly 16,000 appliances to help residents eat well and lower household energy costs. Councillor Rob Waltham, leader of North Lincolnshire Council, noted the program has already helped thousands of pensioners save money and stay healthy. Councillor Tim Mitchell, cabinet member for sustainability and transformation, stated that the program is coming to a close. Mitchell encouraged eligible pensioners who have not yet applied to do so. Residents can apply through an online application form.
