Pastrnak Scores, Achieves 500th Assist as Bruins Beat Red Wings

David Pastrnak, the Czech forward, scored a goal and added an assist in the Boston Bruins' 4-2 victory over the Detroit Red Wings. Pastrnak is the sixth Czech player in the NHL to reach 500 career assists.

David Pastrnak, aged 29, scored on a two-man advantage. He later assisted on an empty-netter. His performance earned him the game's second star. Jeremy Swayman made 41 saves in goal for Boston. In other NHL action, Filip Hronek managed Vancouver's lone goal as they lost 3-1 to St. Louis. Daniel Vladař stopped 24 shots in Philadelphia's 4-1 win over San Jose. Pastrnak currently leads all Czech players with 86 points this season.
