Griffin stated that there is no greater honour than wearing USA across your chest. It remains unclear if Griffin, age 36, will be a player or have another role with the team. The announcement coincided with Team USA's performance at the Fanatics Flag Football Classic in Los Angeles. Team USA went 3-0 in the competition against teams of current and former NFL players. They outscored their opponents by a combined score of 106-44.
