Sister seeks answers in Toronto man's homicide disappearance over two years
Tatev Stepanyan, the sister of Taron Stepanyan, who disappeared from Toronto more than two years ago, is pleading for answers. Taron Stepanyan, 40, was last seen in December 2021 leaving his apartment building near Chichester Place.
Tatev Stepanyan spoke with Global News on Saturday during a visit to Toronto from Armenia. She said the last time she spoke with her brother was days before Christmas in 2021. He planned to celebrate Christmas with his son and friends. Tatev Stepanyan said her family immediately knew something was wrong when they stopped hearing from him. She described how often he would check in with her or their mother. She stated that it was impossible that he would suddenly cut off contact without any reason.
