Türkiye's Daily Electricity Consumption Decreased by 0.5% on March 21

Daily electricity consumption in Türkiye decreased by approximately 0.56% on March 21, totalling 705,731 megawatt-hours. Electricity production reached 720,775 megawatt-hours on Saturday.

According to the Turkish Electricity Transmission Corporation (TEIAS), Türkiye's daily electricity consumption experienced a decrease of around 0.56% on Saturday, March 21. The total consumption amounted to 705,731 megawatt-hours. Hourly power consumption reached its highest point at 34,692 megawatt-hours at 8 p.m. local time (1800 GMT), according to TEIAS data. The lowest level of electricity usage was recorded at 5 a.m., with 25,315 megawatt-hours. Electricity generation from dam-based hydropower plants constituted approximately 26.3% of the total production.
