Many people are returning to Dhaka after spending the holiday with family and friends in their hometowns. This influx has been building since the morning, as reported by The Daily Star. A significant portion of these travellers chose to commence their return journeys ahead of schedule, aiming to circumvent potential last-minute travel pressures. Observations at key transportation hubs, including Jatrabari, Sayedabad, and Gabtoli bus terminals, indicated that passengers expressed contentment with their trips. They largely noted an absence of significant obstacles on the highways. The government had implemented various initiatives to ensure secure and unimpeded travel during the extended Eid holiday period, contributing to the positive experience reported by returnees.
