Minister Expects Keir Starmer to Find Humour in President Trump's Sketch Share

A UK government minister stated that Prime Minister Keir Starmer would likely find a comedy sketch, shared by President Trump, amusing. The sketch, which portrays Mr. Starmer as apprehensive of President Trump, was posted on social media shortly before the two leaders discussed the Middle East crisis.

A British government minister indicated that Prime Minister Keir Starmer would probably appreciate the humour in a satirical video shared by President Trump. Matthew Pennycook expressed confidence that his leader would laugh if he viewed the content. On Sunday, President Trump disseminated a segment from a comedy programme on his Truth Social platform, which depicted Mr. Starmer as fearful of him. This occurred just before President Trump engaged in a telephone conversation with the Prime Minister. In the comedic portrayal, an actor playing Mr. Starmer attempts to avoid a phone call from President Trump, expressing concern about being yelled at. The character later ends the call, labelling President Trump as "scary." The two leaders subsequently spoke by phone regarding the Middle East situation. Mr. Pennycook commented to Times Radio that he did not view the situation as awkward.
