Rainfall Expected in Balochistan and Sindh from March 25 to 28
A weather disturbance is forecast to bring rain and strong winds to Balochistan and Sindh provinces from March 25 to March 28. This system is anticipated to enter Balochistan from Iran, impacting various regions, including Karachi.
A weather disturbance is projected to affect Pakistan between March 25 and March 28, with its most significant impact anticipated in Balochistan, according to a Monday alert from the Meteorological Department. Anjum Nazir Zaigham, a Deputy Director at the Karachi Meteorological Department, stated that this system is expected to move into Balochistan from Iran. It will bring substantial winds and precipitation to Balochistan and subsequently influence Sindh, including Karachi, where residents can expect strong gusts and sudden heavy rainfall. The department also noted that temperatures across the country have been above average in February and March, which can heighten the intensity of weather phenomena. Earlier, on Sunday, the Pakistan Meteorological Department indicated that a similar atmospheric condition was already affecting many parts of the country, forecasting rain and thunder for Karachi. Prior to this, Karachi experienced rain, thunder, and lightning on the first day of Eidul Fitr, which disrupted celebrations and complicated travel in some areas.
