Rehnath informed PTI that her son had been working aboard the vessel for the past eight months. However, communication ceased the following day as regional tensions intensified. The family has attempted to contact the shipping company without success. Shamsudheen noted a similar incident last year where Farhan was out of contact for more than 20 days, later explaining that internet access had been unavailable. He expressed greater concern this time due to the current situation in Iran.
