Embed Checklist

Use this checklist as you protect an image for posting online.

1. Enter your copyright details Fill in rights owner, year, license, and optional notice so the key and copyright line are correct. 2. Choose your protection mode Decide whether you want hidden copyright, the visible Verity signature, or both. 3. Set strength and JPEG quality Use Social Media for normal platform posting or Maximum when you expect harsher recompression. 4. Add the image you want to protect Drop or browse for the original image file here. 5. Run Embed Watermarks & Download Download the newly protected file that Verity generates. 6. Upload the protected file to Facebook or another platform This tests whether the hidden watermark survives real-world recompression. 7. Download the platform copy Use the downloaded copy in Detect Watermark to verify survival.

Detect Checklist

Use this checklist to confirm whether the downloaded platform copy still carries your copyright.

1. Load the matching profile or enter the original copyright details The detector key must match the image that was protected. 2. Reset the Secret Key if needed Click Reset beside Secret Key after changing owner, year, or license. 3. Drop the downloaded platform copy here Use the file downloaded from Facebook, Instagram, X, or another platform. 4. Read the Quick Result first This gives the plain-language outcome before the technical report. 5. Check recovered copyright and stripped metadata Recovered copyright proves the hidden watermark survived; stripped metadata is normal on many platforms. 6. Export a receipt if you need a record Use Export Receipt to save a plain-text verification summary.
